In Jewish tradition, learning occurs best in the context of a community.

The Dorot Learning Community provides a framework in which Fellows consider together the theoretical and practical implications of their experiences in Israel, and further develop skills and understanding necessary for successful lay leadership in the American Jewish community.

The Dorot Fellows and the DFI Staff exist in a Collaborative Community in which all members take responsibility for developing and executing a communal learning agenda throughout the year.
